Bluenose Mountain Trail
Bluenose Mountain is located on the outskirts of the small community of Lavington in the spectacular Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The mountain can be seen for miles around and is about a 25-minute drive from the nearby city of Vernon. It provides hikers with sweeping views of the Okanagan Backcountry wilderness (the most stunning views are during sunrise).
The hiking trail itself takes roughly around an hour to get to the top depending on which trail you take, as there are several different ways to ascend Bluenose Mountain. Once on top, you can wander around the many trails that take you around what was once the caldera of an ancient volcano, which is now dormant.
